“For MMA fans this is a good day,” Cormier wrote. “A guy that has shown to be one of the greatest fighters of all time is back. As a competitor there could be no other outcome and this is the best news I’ve heard in a long time.”

“Jon has said the right things and his actions are backing his words up,” Cormier continued. “We all hope this is the last time we have to deal with anything like that. And lastly as a fan u get to see see 2 of the best fighters compete against each other. With that being said I can’t wait to compete against him again.”

Despite dos Anjos beef, Anthony Pettis denies he's helping 'Cowboy' for title fight

“Anthony told me, he said, ‘Cowboy, if you need me to come down and train for dos Anjos – I hate that motherf-cker,'” Cerrone said on “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast. “I said, ‘Pettis, I might just hit you up on that.'”

“No, that’s not true at all,” Pettis said at a recent UFC Q&A session with fans. “He made a comment at a fight saying if I was fighting Khabib (Nurmagomedov) that he was going to – he hates that guy and would help me train for Khabib. I was like, ‘You got RDA next.’ He took what I said and put it out there like I was going to help him train.”

“I’m possibly fighting this dude again, and he was talking big stuff when I fought him before,” Pettis said. “So I’m definitely not helping him out training.”

Johny Hendricks on not fighting: Deer meat, dried up intestines, and kidney stone forced my body to quit

"Everything was going good. I was drinking two and half gallons a day and I was walking right around 193, which is normal. Then my body just quit, I couldn't go to the bathroom. It was was if my body was holding on to everything, which was sort of weird. So we started doing the weight cut, and I was still drinking two and half gallons a day. Then I just hit a plateau where I would feel lightheaded, which is common. I didn't think anything of it, and then I woke up on Thursday feeling really good at 184 pounds. I thought it was going to be perfect, lost 10 pounds then wake up on Friday and have to lose an extra three pounds. I went and did my first session and only lost two pounds. I was like, 'Oh boy.' That was when my body felt different. I tried to push through it, went and did another session and worked out and that is when I realized something was wrong. Both my left and right sides started to hurt. I went to the hospital and that's when I found out that my intestines were dried up and that I had a kidney stone on my right side."

'Cyborg' says she's been bullied by UFC president Dana White, champ Ronda Rousey

I find it Hypocritical of @rondarousey to complain about people in Hollywood being critical of her body image, talking about her arms or the extra weight she carries between fights.
For the past 5 years this same Ronda Rousey and Dana White have used the media to Bully me, opening the door for other opponents to try the same tactics.
Instead of talking about my fighting skills, they would rather use the Media attention to say like I look like a man, or that I Walk like Wanderlia Silva in a dress.
These comments are not made to promote a fight between the 2 best female fighters on the planet!!
they are said to make me feel bad, and are a weak attempt to bully someone into having lower self esteem.
Whether Ronda accepts the responsibility or not, she is a role model for millions of girls around the world and they listen to what she says, often times imitating her actions.
I am glad to see she is more sensitive to the issue of Bullying now that she is experiencing it for herself in Hollywood and hopefully with this comes more maturity and growth as a woman.
I see the results of bullying online everyday, and it is a real problem, because of this I have decided to use my next fight in ‪#‎InvictaFC‬ to bring awarness to online Bullying, more news about my next opponent and fight date to come soon!
It is important that people understand their true value is not in the way that they look, how many instagram followers they have, or the amount of money that they have in their bank account.
Our true self worth and lasting legacy comes from the way we treat one another, how well we help our communities, and our ability to serve god.
Online bullying will never go away, but through education I hope we can lead people to see the consequences of their actions, and I am glad to see Ronda Rousey is starting to see this for herself.

Daniel Cormier not thinking about Jon Jones: 'He's got some things still to figure out'

"I’m going to win, so, yeah, whatever. I’ve got a fight Saturday,” Cormier told MMAjunkie after a workout session for UFC 192, which takes place at Toyota Center in Houston with a main card on pay-per-view. “Congratulations (to Jon Jones). He still has some business to take care of, obviously. We’ll see when the UFC clears him. We’ll see when he wants to fight. We don’t know what he’s been doing these last few months, but if he’s been training, so be it. If there was ever a doubt that I want to get back in the octagon with that man, please put it to rest. There’s no worry on my end. We’re celebrating on this side.”
Then again, even Cormier seems to think booking a fight with him and Jones might be putting the cart before the proverbial horse.
“It looms large to (the media), not me,” Cormier said of the timing of Jones’ punishment. “I’m focused on the task at hand. I’ve said time and time again, that guy’s not on my radar. I’m trying to prepare for a tough guy on Saturday night. I’m a competitor. I will never back down from anything, and I’m glad he’s back – if he’s even back.
“He hasn’t been reinstated yet. We’re talking like this guy is scheduling a fight right now. We don’t know where this guy’s head space is. We need to figure it out, and he’s got some things to still figure out on his own. Just because he got his punishment by the justice system, but we don’t know what damage it did to this kid. And if it did none, then this dude’s got some real problems.”
